Here is the main part of the drain waste vent system. It starts at the left at the end of the 4 inch cast iron drain that leads to the street. The connection starts in the lower left corner with a no hub connection to a 4" to 3" inch coupling, to a 3" wye. The branch line is a short pipe to a 45 degree elbow to a short pipe to a 90 degree long sweep elbow to a closet flange. The main drain continues to the right to 3 inch by 2 inch wye. The branch consists a short pipe to  22 degree joint to a P trap with a stubout for the shower drain. The main drain continues to a 3 x 2 inch wye to a P trap with a stub out to the floor drain (note the air conditioning condensor being temporarily dumped here). The main drain continues to a sanitary tee serving a 2 inch vent and a 90 degree 3 inch wye to the vertical drain serving the first floor kitchen and second floor bathroom

CLOTHES WASHER / LAVATORY / DISH WASHER The vertical drain starts above the floor with a 3 x 2 inch wye (clothes washer drain), to a 3 x 1 1/2 inch wye (lavatory drain), to a 3 x 1 1/2 inch wye (dish washer drain) to a 3 X 3 inch wye for a clean out to a hubless connection to the original cast iron drain.  img 2538

LAVATORY / SHOWER The lavatory/shower drain branches to the left immediately after the water closet from a 3 X 2 inch wye turned at a 45 degree up angle. The 2 inch branch continues to the right to a 22 degree elbow to a 2 X 2 inch wye laid on its side at a 45 degree angle. The 2 inch lavatory line branches to the left to a 45 degree elbow, to another 45 degree elbow to a 45 degree street elbow (at the bottom of the footer) to a 90 degree elbow (that turns over the top edge of the footer) and another 90 degree street elbow to a stub out for the lavatory. The shower branch from the 2 x 2 inch wye consists of a street 45 degree elbow to a P trap with a stubout for the shower drain. IMG 2499

SHOWER The main drain continues to the right to a 3 X 2 inch wye turned on its side at a 45 degree up angle.  The shower branch continues to a 22 degree elbow to a coupling to a 2 inch PVC trap (solvent joint) to a stub out.

The main drain continues to the right to a 3 X 2 inch wye at a 45 degree up angle to a P trap with a stub out for the floor drain (note 1/2 inch air conditioning condenser drain). The main drain continues to a another 3 X 2 inch wye at a 90 degree up angle to a 45 degree street elbow to a 2 inch vent.
